as a son in life-long conflict with his father who learns to forgive and live againI'm the sheriff in Holloway, which is ironic as I just finished working as a stand-in for Brad Dourif (Sheriff Brackett) on
H2: Halloween 2.
Paper Boys just premiered at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta - a fun party with cast and crew!
I'm also working on four roles in Theatre-to-Go's A Question of Faith, Sitting Shiva
and Crime Watch. These short plays run together as Theatre-to-Go travels around Atlanta bringing a menu of plays out to audiences. Outside of that I'm giving theatre a short break in
2009 to make my focus on-camera.
I've just started personal coaching with Shannon Eubanks, one of the best actors in Atlanta (or anywhere)!
I just finished two voice programs: Voice Acting for Animation with Jai
Husband, Senior Animation Director for Turner Studios, and the Voice-Over Demo class at YourAct, which culminates in a demo tape for future voice over work. I should have those demos up here soon.
Earlier this year I finished The Director's Chair, an 8-week intensive on filmmaking led by director Michael Lucker which featured a showcase great actors on film and stage to a packed house at Sketchworks!
to see the film scene we shot for that class (for mature audiences only - language and subject)
2008 was extremely busy with Christmas Belles and
The Weir at OnStage Atlanta, The Boys in the Band at Whole World Theatre, and a short run in Ludlow's Conundrum, which was part of 9x9 '08
an Atlanta Stage Write Productions Festival of local playwrights.In film, I shot two features in Atlanta: Paper Boys and Lonely Love; two shorts in Savannah, Neighborhood Watch and The Cows;
and a short that is part of the Dailies program in Atlanta, Shamus the Myth (it was on Atlanta Shorts on PBA in July and will be in several festivals)..
